Ascension course. Wanted a PR, but mistakenly thought that my PR was 3 minutes better than it was. Then I wanted to go below one hour and all of my projections were inconsistent. Meanwhile, it turns out that the fastest time this season was a bit better than my (actual) PR and I wanted that, too. There were so many alternative facts that I didn't know what to do. In the end, I did set a new PR, slightly worse than the one I had imagined I already had. Top 30% overall and age group. Took the record at the Y (had been 3rd) by just under 2.5 minutes; previous holder was the season leader so that was actually a good target! P:205; C:58
