I'm embarrassed to admit that this was an obstacle race. In my defense, it was run on-campus so it was sort-of work-related to go. Actually, it was an interesting race in that half of the obstacles were "mental", usually in the form of puzzles. We aced the Lloyd's eight puzzle, the binary sum, and the 4x4 sudoku. We were quick on all of the others. The obstacles themselves weren't too bad other than the monkey bars at the end. The dual balance-beam marble maze was a bit of a challenge, too. Still, it was more fun than I expected.
