Wicked Workout - neck and neck with the ghost until about 2.5 miles; then slowly moved away to take him by 26 seconds. Top 15% overall; missed age group by 14 seconds. 3rd at the Y, nine seconds out of second, but 84 off the best pace. Did move up one position, though. P:223; C:59

(Discounted) Played Payne. Match was good whenever I failed to ace or failed to hit a winner on the return of his serve. The majority of points scored can be accounted for by those two outcomes, but there were many good rallies as well. 15-2, 15-6, 11-2.

Oh Mama course; my ghost passed me early while I was trying to help a kid on the other bike. I caught him and slowly inched away, taking him by 11 seconds. Top 20% overall; missed top 20% age group by 4 seconds. The "improvement" kept me third all-time at the Y, 30 seconds out of second and 43 out of first. P:219; C:58.

Rough Rider course - My ghost shot past me like he was scared to death at the 11 second mark and pretty much disappeared even though I felt like I was riding quickly. Ended up top 20% overall; 9 seconds out of that in my age group. Still in second all-time at the Y (by seven seconds), but this ride would have been third (by seven seconds) if it weren't for my ghost. P: 209; C: 59
