Couldn't get our racquetball court despite a reservation (that was apparently "lost" even though it was only a few hours old). The "step team" was having a meeting on one court (really? you're not even exercising? and your team of twenty had only three people - five later - show up?) and some kid was sitting on the other "waiting for his partner" who was getting water. Of course, he had been doing so when I came in fifteen minutes earlier, too.

So, off to the elliptical for a bit.

Step team was still there, and kid was still waiting, but did say that "due to time constraints" he thought his match would be short, maybe ten minutes. (So you held the court for forty-five minutes so you could play for ten?) So, back to the elliptical...

Racquetball 15:00 [1]

Just as we were about to begin, Phil got a text from his wife saying that the snow was getting bad and he should not dally going home (we had barely a dusting at this point - ultimately got 1-2 inches). So, we played only one game. It had three parts. I led 8-1, then we had a really long even stretch during which my lead shrank to 10-4, then I took the last five in a hurry and won 15-4.

A real kerfuffle as I clearly missed some splits and then (probably a lap). Couldn't tell if the lap was a kickboard lap or a freestyle lap so I did two of each at the end, but even forgot to start the watch... Doesn't bode well for work today.

"Cutthroat" with Jerry and Phil (a newbie) followed by a singles game with Phil. Time is heavily discounted as I was winning 80% of my points without even running too much; and that's with my trying to leave everything medium high and soft for Phil.

Decided that a long-term goal is to complete every ride at least once. Being the idiot that I am, I started with Savage Revenge, one of only two that are more than 14 miles. Felt okay (though tired) until I got off the bike and my hamstrings started shouting, "WTF"? Longest I've ever been on a stationary bike at once.
