Finished my mileage for the Ironman challenge. Now it's on to the run stage. I have forty days to make 26.2 miles. How ever will I do it?

Swimming 21:18 [2] 1.0 km (21:18 / km)

Phil and I decided to do a "biathalon" workout. First half was in the (university) pool. Pool was cold and clear and my stroke count/pool end judgment was off and I had some really weak turns, particularly at the deep end, but I felt okay overall. Also stopped briefly in the middle because Phil did and I thought he was in distress. (It was only a goggle "emergency".)

Surprising how much the swim took out of me. I was moving at only about 90% of speed for much of the first half. Eventually I got up to speed, but I was definitely more tired than usual at the end. Still, a fun experiment.
