Twice around the loop. As I started out, I noticed a significant lack of air in the rear tire, so I was slow and gingerly until I got to the Free Air pump at BJs. Then it was off to enjoy the nice day...

(Discounted) Some singles and mostly cutthroat with an older player who has lost a step (Jerry) and a rookie (Syed). Syed was late, so Jerry and I played a singles match that ended with me winning 15-0 as he couldn't make a shot. He "shut me out" in the rematch, 0-4 before Syed showed up. The cutthroat was mostly training, though Jerry and I got in some really good rallies and eventually Syed got the hang of it. I won the first 5 matches before Jerry found his stride and took the last one.
The day was nice and Sarah wanted to pepper, so we tried. Lawn was dry to the touch, but very springy so diving wasn't an option. Ball was a bit deflated and we didn't feel like looking for the pump, so we made do and concentrated on footwork and form.
Thought the time might be high because I was getting tired, but the splits show remarkable consistency. I therefore conclude that the 1 sec/length slowness was probably more a factor of the water temperature (high) than my exhaustion.
Found "The Ab Coaster", a machine hidden in an alcove we'd never explored before. (Found it only because of the noise of someone using it.) It was an interesting alternative from the inclined sit-ups. Have to see about mixing it in to future workouts.
