Random @ 15. Mileage was way down (just under 20%), but perceived effort and (reported) heart rate were the usual values and I think RPMs were too, but I don't usually pay a lot of attention there. Might have to check with another bike...
Most exhausting match in over a year. Singles vs. Steve - the older, skilled player who has the same unusual style I do. It turns out that playing singles let me focus on his style and exploit its weaknesses and made me more aware of my own.
Game 1: No one ever lead by more than 2. Trailed 11-13 before winning 15-13.
Game 2: Tied at 2, 4, 6, and 8. At 10-8, Steve called time out; we were both gassed. He didn't break through the wall, though and I won 6 of the last 7 rallies to win 15-8.
Game 3: (The lower intensity) Despite a water break, neither of us had much left in the tank. Tied at 2, 4, and 6 before I started serving well and he lost a real step. 15-6.
I am much more proud of this victory than any other match I've played that I can recall. Great time; great workout; great result.
