Running 20:00 [1] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi) +20m 9:42 / mi

Warmed up quite diligently.

WRE middle distance race at the Team Fundraiser. Not my best performance ever but a lot of it is my complete lack of any physical shape whatsoever. Made about 3-4 minutes of mistakes but lost close to 10 minutes due to physicality of the course. I caught the guy who started 6 minutes ahead of me at control 7, let him go at control 9 and in the end he beat me by 4 minutes. Thus, at least 10 minutes lost physically. Mentally I was ok for my lack of orienteering experience in recent years. I certainly enjoyed the course, map, event and - even more so - the weather.

Orienteering race 22:23 [4] *** 2.59 km (8:39 / km) +75m 7:33 / km

Sprint race in Umstead. Got to the start very late, started with no warm-up and in my road running shoes. Had three catastrophical errors (2 mins to 4, 2 mins to 7 and 40 sec to 12) plus a few smaller bobbles. Not a good race by any means. It was fun though.

Running warm up/down 30:00 [2] 3.2 mi (9:22 / mi) +70m 8:47 / mi

Promptly proceeded to get lost right after finish and it took me 3 miles (instead of what I suppose should have been 0.5 miles or so) to get back to the parking.

Cross-country skiing 1:13:00 [3] 15.9 km (4:35 / km) +450m 4:01 / km

Three laps at Laurel Ridge (26, 23 and 24 minutes). It was so icy that the main exercise was controling the skis from flying out of the track. Fun anyway, even got complimented on "risking it on the downhills".
