I was feeling really good today, and I ran fast. Ran up Indian Lookout in just over 15 minutes, which is much faster than normal.

I took it pretty easy today. Nothing hard, just out jogging through the woods.

Running 56:15 [3]

I did a pseudo hill workout today. I ran one of the catamount 5k courses forwards and the backwards, pushing hard up the hills and taking it easy on the flat and downhill. Then for about a mile towards the end I just pushed hard for a bit. Definitely broke into my stride after about 30 minutes (as usual), and the running was much more enjoyable after that.

Catamount 5k. Not sure what my deal was today. I should have been about a minute faster on this course, but I burnt out about 1/2-3/4 of the way through and struggled to keep up my pace. I didn't feel like I had any less energy than usual while starting the race, so I'm not sure why I was so slow today.
