Much better than yesterday but still some doubtful route choices and execution. Joanne started 4+ minutes ahead, Janet almost 2 min, but I got to the first control before either of them. Then we kind of leap-frogged but I decided to try to go down to the creek to get to #6 - poor choice - very thick vegetation so came back up. Overshot #7 - relocated on the trail beyond. Missed #10. And #11 despite being able to take a bearing from the main trail. Joanne finished 5 min ahead of me, but Janet went off the map between 5 and 6, so was well back. Dreadful mosquitoes!!

Stinking hot and humid! Temp about 34C but with the humidex felt like 46.2C...Made so many mistakes but at least I finished - lots didn't!! Quite technical terrain between the residential areas. There was a really wonderful kid's spray park next to the finish area :)
