hill running 2:03:00 [3] 8.7 mi (14:08 / mi) +680m 11:23 / mi

Cross Fell from Kirkland. A long runnable climb into the cloud, but I wasn't running very fast because I was knackered before I started. Glad to find the top. Suffered from cramp with about 200m to go and hobbled stiff legged back to the car.

Trip to Edinburgh to get rid of the last of the children. Followed by a very enjoyable jaunt in the Pentlands. Scald Law, South Black Hill, East Kip, West Kip, East Kip, Scald Law and Carnethy.

running 50:00 [3] 4.5 mi (11:07 / mi)

20 minute warm up, then 2 x Parkside mile with 5 min rest, 10 minute crawl home. 8:14, 8:07, so both slightly slower than last week but then my watch made me run further for each mile.

running 1:04:36 [3] 7.0 mi (9:14 / mi)

Butcher Hill, Newlay Bridge, Kirkstall Bridge.

Tried to go a bit quicker but the palpitations never settled down. Lovely cool sunny evening.

Latest Lardhouse news - the plot has been taken over by the Salmon to Skipton project and they are building a fish ladder.
