running 1:00:08 [3] 6.1 mi (9:51 / mi)

Millington Dale and Huggate. Set off with Evie but she decided it wasn't happening after half a mile and turned back. I shortened what I was doing and went as fast as I could round the rest. Pleasant.

running 58:30 [3] 6.2 mi (9:26 / mi)

Evie used emotional blackmail to force me out for a run with her. I didn't think I would survive but I turned out to be ok, and my calf got better as the run went on. Chapel Allerton and Weetwood at a reasonable steady pace.

Thursday May 21, 2020 #

running 1:07:10 [3] 6.5 mi (10:20 / mi)

Ploddy plod to Stairfoot Lane trig. Struggled to find it even though it is right next to the road. It is hidden behind a tree if you are approaching from Adel Crag.

My calf was fine while I was running but a few minutes after I stopped it became very stiff and painful. Probably best to ignore it, it just wants attention.

Wednesday May 20, 2020 #

running 56:01 [3] 5.7 mi (9:50 / mi)

Scott Hall trig and Tunnel How Hill trig. Scott Hall trig is in the middle of a dual carriageway but does have a decent view towards the city centre and away to the south. Tunnel How Hill trig has no view at all, buried in woodland. It was painted bright pink a few years ago but has now faded to a dull red.

Stomach feeling better, legs much worse. Left calf in particular tightened up towards the end and the last mile was a bit painful.

Tuesday May 19, 2020 #

running 46:59 [3] 4.8 mi (9:47 / mi)

Seven arches and Hollies. Feeling very uncomfortable in the lower stomach area for the last couple of days. Started slowly but got a bit quicker towards the end.
