running 50:26 [3] 4.5 mi (11:12 / mi) +150m 10:09 / mi

Fox House, White Edge Lodge, Padley Gorge. With Evie, steady. We stopped to have a paddle in the brook and cool off before walking the last half mile back to the Fox House. Not so sore today.

hill running 1:51:16 [3] 8.8 mi (12:39 / mi) +500m 10:45 / mi

Pinhaw Beacon, Standrise, Carleton, Ramshaw, Lothersdale, Pinhaw Beacon. Still sore and started slowly. I lost the path coming down towards Carleton and got stuck in a ravine, clinging to a loose shale slope over a near vertical drop trying to work out how to get down. It took about 5 minutes to do 100 metres and that lost any momentum I started with. Plodded very slowly after that. Saved the best of the run until last, down into Lothersdale and back up over the top of Pinhaw. Very hot obviously.

Sore from being forced to build a bed. Stiff and slow.

Wednesday Jul 4, 2018 #

running 45:40 [3] 4.7 mi (9:43 / mi)

Arches. Scotland Wood fast 11:55. I wasn't expecting much after a difficult 24 hours with work (stupid sale) and a tick borne encephalitis vaccination, but actually was ok.

Monday Jul 2, 2018 #

running 33:07 [2] 3.3 mi (10:02 / mi)

Church Wood, Queens Wood, Batcliffe Wood. Slow, taking it easy.
