hill running 1:22:00 [3] 7.8 mi (10:31 / mi) +300m 9:23 / mi

Sourby, Dearncomb Beck, Round Hill, with Charlie. Quite pleasant. Finished through the woods rather than on the main track.

running 22:25 [5] 5.0 km (4:29 / km)

Parkrun, on a cold and frosty morning. I was determined to push hard from the start but was maybe overdoing it with a 4:10 first k. I slowed a bit after that and was gradually losing places but my pace was still pretty good. Didn't have anything left at the finish, but very happy with the time. Nearly a minute quicker than my previous post-op best, and within sight of what I was doing in 2011. If I squint a bit.

Kilometre splits 4:10, 4:31, 4:34, 4:32, 4:38

running 36:00 [2] 3.4 mi (10:35 / mi)

To and from parkrun.

orienteering 33:00 [4] 4.6 km (7:10 / km)

Aire o-lite at Temple Newsam. Kept finding myself on the wrong side of bramble thickets and struggled a bit to get going. Quite a good course for this sort of thing.

Wednesday Nov 23, 2016 #

running 1:06:56 [4] 8.2 mi (8:10 / mi)

Butcher Hill, Woodside, Horsforth Station, Holt Park, Adel Lane. Not done this for a while. Quite quick.

Tuesday Nov 22, 2016 #

running 27:33 [4] 3.2 mi (8:37 / mi)

Weetwood and Lawnswood, 6 x 2min fast, 1 min slow.

Monday Nov 21, 2016 #

running 28:42 [3] 3.3 mi (8:42 / mi)

Parkside and Weetwood. Difficult conditions. I just wanted to get it over with but never really got going. Need to get back into the swing of things.
