hill running race 1:34:30 [4] 8.0 mi (11:49 / mi) +500m 9:53 / mi

Malhamdale fell race. Steady start, ended up running most of it with Simon. I was struggling all the way from Goredale and Simon dropped me on the last hill. Knackered.
Beat the 11 year old today. But not by much.

orienteering 50:30 [4] 6.0 km (8:25 / km) +300m 6:44 / km

Score event on Arnside Knott. Didn't really pick a very good route, no forward planning . Nice area, nice day. Poor result. Beaten by an 11 year old. :(

hill running 1:20:00 [3] 7.0 mi (11:26 / mi) +300m 10:05 / mi

To Malham Moor for a sprint orienteering race, then down to the top of the cove, across to Gordale but climbed the ridge to the west of the scar, finished with a climb of great close hill.

orienteering race 19:20 [4] 2.5 km (7:44 / km)

Sprint race on Malham Moor, 15 second interval start so passing people or being passed the whole way round. Fun.

Great Close Hill from Malham Tarn House. With Tasha. Not really feeling like going any quicker.

Struggling a bit. Slow.

running 24:23 [3] 3.2 mi (7:37 / mi)
ahr:145 max:149

Weetwood and Lawnswood tempo. Dithered all day before getting round to doing something. Trying hard but feeling a bit post-Christmas. Considerably quicker than I could do this a year ago though, by about a minute.

I didn't want to run in any more mud.
