orienteering race 55:57 [5] 8.3 km (6:44 / km)

November Classic, Burley West, Long Blue. I think I ran pretty well - less than a minute of mistakes and still running quite strongly at the end. Much better than 2 weeks ago. Lost time at #12 but only a few seconds, crossed a stream I didn't need to and then couldn't cross back because there was a fallen tree in the way between me and the control. Also time lost at #15, not sure where I had come out of the gorse and looped down to the bottom of the spur and back up, maybe 30 seconds.

10 minutes behind Clive, who overtook me at the start of the long 12 and took 2 minutes out of me on it (7:25 to 9:39 - although I should have been a few seconds quicker if I had gone straight to the control), 7 minutes behind Charlie.

3rd M45, behind Musty and Andy Monro.

All the people in front of me were people I have heard of - result.
