running 30:00 [3] 2.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

Not really training - spectating at JIRCs relays. Jogged to the car and back to get something for Evie, 1.5 miles maybe, felt fine. Then I spent the rest of the morning sprinting up and down a big sand dune, because from the top of it you could see half the area including a few spectator controls, and the changeover was at the bottom.

running 23:53 [4] 2.8 mi (8:32 / mi)

Got home after the JIRCs and decided to go for a run since I had been fine messing around in the morning. Stepping stones, not bad.

Note

I think I might have been suffering from a virus or something last week. I had problems with running early in the week and on Thursday and Friday I was feeling quite rough and achy and my heart was feeling a bit unstable. Woke up Sunday morning and everything felt fine again. And that was after spending the night on a sportshall floor with 100+ kids and a number of snoring adults.

Attempt at running, problems. Waited for HR to settle down, set off again, more problems.
