rf ablation for Atrial Flutter, although most of the time was spent going over the previous ablation for Atrial Fibrillation. They gave me a lot less morphine this time so that I wouldn't throw up, and I was a lot more aware of what was going on. It bloody hurts, having the inside of your heart slightly cooked.
I am feeling quite positive. After the last ablation my heart rate was still all over the place and I needed persuading that I was actually in sinus rhythm. This time everything is much more stable and my resting pulse is already down to the high 40s. It hasn't been that low for nearly 2 years, and it still needs to settle down from the operation.
