Training Log Archive: Frostbite

Ogden brown course. Struggling even before I got to the start. I was walking at the first hill (leaving 2). Andy Thorpe passed me at 4 while I was walking up another hill. I got confused on the way to 5 and followed the wrong strip of open, but it didn't make much difference, maybe 45 seconds lost. After that no more mistakes, just plodding along, walking every hill. On the steeper hills even walking was too much and I had to have a little rest every now and again. Passed by Tim Patterson at 14, then again at 17 after he had got a bit carried away on the moor. Frustrated by a missing crossing point - after a brief discussion with another competitor arriving at the same point from the opposite direction we both decided to cross anyway. 17 minutes behind Steve W, 14 behind Andy. 9th place.

If I have calculated correctly I am YSL M35 champion. maybe. Steve hasn't updated all the scores yet.
