Terrain running 32:00 [3] 2.0 mi (16:00 / mi)

Following Evie around the Orange at Skipwith. She didn't need any help from me and she ran too fast for me to keep up, on the paths at least.

orienteering 57:00 [4] 6.2 mi (9:12 / mi)

Brown course (middle distance) at Skipwith. Started steadily and didn't feel too bad. Lost a minute and a half at number 1 being vague, struggled between 7 and 8 in the thigh-deep marsh which sent my heart racing a bit. Lost a couple more minutes at 14, another minute at 17, by then I was really tired. Perked up a bit when I saw Dave Alcock and realised I must have overtaken him at some point.

1st place when I finished, but obviously not a very good run. Black (200m further) was won in 42.

running 25:00 [2] 2.5 mi (10:00 / mi)

Out through the park, got as far as Parkside Road before I decided I'd had enough. Straight back home at a jog.

running 45:00 [2] 4.3 mi (10:28 / mi)

Stainbeck and Stonegate. Not too bad for the first ten minutes but just got worse and worse. Heart wasn't particularly any worse than at the weekend but everything else felt shit. Stopped and walked for a bit at the top of King Lane, then forced a jog back down the hill.
