Note

Hamster got put down today. His last couple of days were very difficult.

Let me characterise the hamster : fearless, resourceful, sociable, intelligent, a credit to hamsterkind. I will miss him.

Evie is very upset.

running 50:00 [3] 5.75 mi (8:42 / mi)

Adel Church, slow and tired

running 1:08:00 [4] 8.0 mi (8:30 / mi) +200m 7:53 / mi

Butcher Hill, Horsforth Station, Cookridge, Adel. My legs felt fine but my heart rate was too fast and I was a bit uncomfortable, and I had a few friction issues. Kept up a nice pace all the same.

running intervals 20:00 [4] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi) +240m 7:17 / mi

I didn't want to run on the road because it's all icy so I thought I would go down the park and do sprints up the sledging hill. Turns out the sledging hill is the only place around with no snow on it at all, but I could still see well enough to run. 12 times up and down, about 130m and 20m climb. Not feeling great and the HR was a bit high.

running warm up/down 12:00 [2] 1.5 mi (8:00 / mi)
