orienteering 1:13:30 [3] 9.1 km (8:05 / km) +200m 7:17 / km

Briefly allowed out (after painting in the morning) to run at Goathland. Not the most demanding area technically but nice running and a beautiful location on a lovely crisp winter's day.

Unfortunately I had one of my bad days. Palpitations from start to finish, and generally knackered. I only made two mistakes - one of 30 seconds, one of about 3 minutes maybe. I should have been more careful going over the edge, and once I was lost I could not relocate.

Then back to more painting.

Note

morning - vigorous yard sweeping and window cleaning. The hardest workout my upper body has had in years. Absolutely knackered. Do not have your house re-rendered in the middle of winter. (although we were somewhat forced into it).

afternoon - painting my mother in law's stairs and landing. What have I done to deserve this?

Adel Church, feeling much better. No problems with breathing and the heart was a bit wobbly to start but settled down. I did treat the people of Adel to the sound of my musical bottom though. Something is wrong inside.

running 19:00 [2] 2.0 mi (9:30 / mi)

I've not been feeling great for a couple of days. Tried running tonight and I felt worse. Straining to breathe, erratic heartbeat, nothing in the legs. Pah.

Parkside and Weetwood. Another unpleasant evening, wet and cold and windy.
