Sleights to Aislaby and back. Felt much better than I have done since the 6 days and pushed quite hard up the hills. ok.

hill running 2:00:00 [2] 12.0 km (10:00 / km) +300m 8:53 / km

Running round Attermire checking a few loose ends. Some steady running, some standing still. Wearing a nice new pair of Walshes, which were ok at first but softened up in the wet so my feet were sliding around inside them, not very comfortable. At least I managed to keep going without fainting.

running 49:00 [3] 5.0 mi (9:48 / mi) +100m 9:14 / mi

Still not feeling great. Set off to do Adel Crag with sore legs and a clunking heart. I was running alright for twenty minutes and then in the space of a few strides I went from ok to wobbly. Wobbled home. Just about reached the moors before heading back.

Really struggling. Went down to the park then explored some little used paths in the Hollies that lead into the backs of gardens. One day I will pluck up the courage to sprint across one and escape onto the road, but today I stayed in the woods and out onto the ring road and back along Weetwood Lane. Legs protesting all the way and heart rate refusing to go up.
