Terrain running 1:13:40 [4] 7.5 mi (9:49 / mi) +350m 8:35 / mi
This is a run I devised when I mostly trained from my office in the middle of Leeds, designed to maximize the amount of terrain I could get into a lunchtime run. It is as physical as I could make it without being gratuitously unpleasant. Starting the run from home misses out a bit of tarmac and grass running in the centre of town. It is a run that requires strength and aggression. Today I attacked it with feebleness and timidity. I was just being a bit rubbish. Woodhouse Ridge, Scott Hall Woods, Sugarwell Hill, Stainbeck, Carr Manor Fields, Meanwood Hospital Woods, Meanwood, the Hollies, with as much up and down and off-path running as possible.
