Adel Crag. Slow, not feeling great after much DIY in the morning and being up until 01:30. In fact a bit shit. 59:50 which is not so good. Knackered.

running long 1:23 [3] 12.0 mi (7 / mi) +250m 6 / mi

Elmsall Way - Brampton Bierley via Hacking Lane, Frickley tip, Frickley, Great Houghton, Little Houghton, Broomhill, Cortonwood. Mostly worked out ok. Plodding along but it was very hot and the hr was up a bit on normal, I think. 1 path was impassable but there was an ok diversion, and I took a wrong turn on the railways before Cortonwood.

running 45:00 [4] 5.0 mi (9:00 / mi) +120m 8:23 / mi

Set out to do Adel Crag but was struggling a bit in the park - working hard but not able to go as fast as I thought for the effort I was putting in. I was ok up to the ring road but took a while to cross, then set off again at great speed, then conked out, then speeded up again, then slipped over and conked out for good just getting to the moors. As soon as I stopped the heart went apeshit and I just walked for a bit, then jogged home. Very hot, but I think just a bad day. First run that has gone wrong since the week of 12th April.

Adel Crag, after driving home via Marsden Bay. Had some chips for lunch and a long drive so feeling a bit short of oomph, but I felt so much more comfortable going up hills than I have been. Struggling a bit more towards the end but kicked up the donkey steps.
