Running Smooth 15:00 [2]

Warm-up.

Orienteering Forest 38:43 [4]

Middle at West Point. So much fun to run real orienteering in a forest that you can run through. Old-school mapping style, only showing the bigger rock features, which for some reason I also enjoyed. Had a good race. It was very good the first 2/3 where I nailed everything. Then I got very passive and hesitant on the longer leg to 12, even though I nailed the bag itself. Lost about 1 minute on this leg. Then my only control mistake was 14, where went down too far right and got into a parallel error. Another 1 min lost there. 3rd place, as some of the faster guys made a few more mistakes.

Orienteering Forest 13:53 [3]

Sprint and West Point. Fun course, majority in the forest and a little bit around the barracks. Had good flow again all the way, but turned out I skipped 14, which was this 8 second leg where you had to turn 180 degrees backwards out of 13. The circles were touching and I somehow never registered that there were 2 controls there... would have been 3rd otherwise.

Running Rough 2:45 [3]

Warm-up on the Jungle Run course! 1:27 first time and 1:18 the second time. Not even close to Graeme who ran 1:06 the second time.

Orienteering City/Park 2:22 [2]

The micro-maze-O. Very slow the first time 1:25 and 0:57 the second time. Greame rocked this too, posting a 0:51 the first time he did it.

Running Smooth 10:00 [2]

Why Just Run in Robert Burnaby. Very good course by Meghan. Did not find the best route on the long leg to 1 (which was through 8, 12 and 19) and instead zig-zagged too much. Also went the wrong way out of 14. Those two combined maybe cost 1 min? Otherwise good and lots of fun. Graeme is getting strong and beat me by 30 sec.
