Staying in Eskdale the night and was going to go up Slight Side, Scafell etc and round but weather looked unappealling and I felt wiped out so just went for a trundle up Green Crag and Harter Fell, didn't run much. Think the heat/humidity has really got to me the last few days.

Ambleside Sports Guides Race. After yesterday just keen for more races. Couldn't get there in time for the Rydal Round and wouldn't have been sensible to do it back to back with yesterday just yet anyway. This was so short and brutal, especially in the heat. 3rd lady so won £20 :) Good day out.

Fellside fell race. Just started steady and kept up an ok pace up the hills. Felt strong but not fast at all and took some time to pick up speed on the tops and descents. Felt pretty good for the second half and when finished although out of breath felt like I could have kept going a while longer at that pace - just missing the top gear atm but will hopefully come with time/more races! Really enjoyed myself :)

Really nice walk up Whiteless Pike, Eel Crag and Grassmoor between shifts.

Extremely slow plod up Stile End, Outerside and Barrow. Calf muscles have felt a bit sore since running on hard surfaces (forest roads) on Saturday.
