Note
(injured)
Saw a physio at the beginning of December who said I had a stress response in my foot that would be better by Christmas. Was no better so saw a doctor who said I had tendonitis. Didn't really believe the doctor so saw another physio who thought it was a navicular stress fracture but sent for an MRI. MRI scan shows 2 Osteochondral lesions (damage to bone and cartilage) at the junction of the tibia and talus and the talus and heel bone. There's a 50% chance it will heal by non-weight bearing with crutches and air cast for 6 weeks so doing that now and will see an orthopedic surgeon and get a CT scan to find out how bad it actually is. Apparently it was all caused by a trauma event, perhaps from jarring my ankle during the Aldershot XC?
