ACT MIddle champs at Orroral. Thought I would take it nice and slow and just focus on being clean. Was great until 11 when I must have passed within a few metres of the control but was a bit green so didn't see it. Lost 3.30 on this leg but pleased I did actually relocate rather than headless chicken like in Tassie. Really enjoyed it and awesome run by Marina!

ACT Sprint champs at Canberra Grammar. Spent the hour before helping on the start then told we could quickly start before they took everything down. So rushed to get changed and quick lap of the field but my legs were pretty cold. Actually had a pretty good run, running really hard for the first few to get warm. Managed to keep ahead of myself the entire way but sadly my map was folded badly and I completely missed number 12 :( Otherwise think I would have been a minute ahead.

Down to Dickson then 10 x 400m with 200m jog between each except after 5 when had 400m recovery. Includes WU/D.

Found myself with a couple of hours free in Belconnen so went along to Wednesday lunchtime orienteering at Aranda Bushlands. Retro style, had to copy the course off a master map and use pin punches. Not sure I’ve had to use a master map before (and I started doing courses on my own 14/15 years ago)! I think someone had accidentally deleted some of the yellow on the southern part of the map, got a bit confused when it was all marked as white. But good fun anyway.

MTB in Majura Pines. Really fun but I am pathetic on the downhill tracks. Too many trees to hit!

Down through ANU and around the lake which was very nice with everything lit up. Really enjoy cycling in the dark. Unfortunately started getting a slow puncture so didn't get all the way round the lake, just about got back with enough air in the tyre.

Street O around Aranda. A lot of options for routechoices which made it really interesting. Not sure I did the best route but good fun. Quite hilly.
