Running warm up/down 5:00 [2] 0.85 km (5:53 / km) +35m 4:53 / km

Running 1:16:24 [4] 12.5 km (6:07 / km) +437m 5:12 / km

Jindabyne multisport race. 12 different legs (3 x swim, mountain bike, kayak and run). Did the longer run in the heat of the day. Surprisingly didn't actually feel the heat that much though did need to drink a bit. Very nice route up into Kosciusko national park all on very undulating single tracks. There was a little downhill near the end but mostly climbing the entire time.

Note

Was going to go to MTBO but didn't have time before heading to Jindabyne. In the afternoon felt rubbish from the heat and left glute sore so thought a rest would be good.

Running warm up/down 9:00 [2] 1.5 km (6:00 / km) +17m 5:41 / km

Orienteering 18:28 [4] 3.07 km (6:01 / km) +71m 5:24 / km

Twilight at Radford. Did O2 because it was more sprint course length. Adapting to the scale and getting the controls in the bush on Gossan Hill pretty well but not really visualising the control sites in the buildings very well. Good fun.

Tuesday Feb 27, 2018 #

Run to Dickson oval with Tristan and Pat. Then a loop around the oval. Then a load of slow drills I haven't included in the time.

Running intervals 29:48 [4] 6.61 km (4:30 / km) +2m 4:30 / km

Intervals at Dickson oval on the grass track with Bilbys. 8 x 600m with 200m jog recoveries. Didn't feel too bad. Recovery after the 4th was a little longer as needed a drink.

Running warm up/down 17:15 [2] 2.64 km (6:32 / km) +45m 6:01 / km

Couple of laps and jog back.

Monday Feb 26, 2018 #

Running 1:00:18 [2] 9.8 km (6:09 / km) +212m 5:33 / km

Over the saddle then a nice big loop in terrain of Campbell Park. So nice to run through compared to the thick bush at the weekend. Really nice evening, was considering doing street o as it was so close but definitely made the right choice.
