Running race 59:29 [4]

Hope Winter Fell Race (reverse to summer route). Really enjoyed this and nice day for it. Think my hill running is pretty good at the moment. Going well up Win Hill until people started walking and then the path got narrow and it was hard to overtake so had to walk too. Need to improve my descending skills as a couple of people overtook me on the way down, bit too scared of crippling myself I think! Great fun and looking forward to doing more of the spring/summer races.

Busy day with open day helping etc. Stomach not happy when got in so bailed on running. Fine now though. Going to try and get a solid couple of weeks running in before fieldtrip.

Walkley headtorch sprintervals with Alice and Laura. Hill rep before each rep. Navigation alright except for the last one, running felt like a lot of effort especially on the first 2 when not warmed up.
