Orienteering race (Long) 1:11:38 [4] 5.8 km (12:21 / km)

Garmin refused to turn on. Same area as Friday. Aiming to be as clean as possible and maintain a top 3 position overall. 1st was 12.5 mins ahead, 3rd was 1 min behind and 4th was 12 mins behind. Overall times were middle time x 3 + sprint x 6 + long x 1. Took safe routes and picked out the key features. Took the path route to 4... not sure if this was the right decision. Overshot 5 and lost 3 mins and lost 30 secs on the last control going down the hill to the last control at a bad angle. Felt like I was orienteering really well - definitely improved this week. 10th; nearly 8 mins behind but came 3rd overall so won 200 SEK of vouchers :)

Running warm up/down 15:00 [2]

Orienteering race (Sprint) 17:18 [5] 3.06 km (5:39 / km)

Straight line distance 1.9km. Contrast of urban and forest. Lots of steps! Lost time on 9 as went down the side of a building rather than straight down the road; ended up on top of some crags and had to cut back, and 10 which I overshot. Otherwise a good run, and won the run in! 3rd; 50 secs behind.

Orienteering race (Middle) 37:21 [5] 3.91 km (9:33 / km)

Gothenburg O Meeting. Straight line distance 3.1km. Slow start - hit 1 fine then needed more confidence to go further at 2. Lost 3 mins at 3 as got distracted by a swede. 4-5 were easier. Pegged it through the marsh to 6 as it was a long leg. The rest was fine except was slightly too high at 7. 2nd; 2 and a half mins down.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [2]

To the start.

Recovery jog with Meg, Carrie and Katrina around the forest near the hut. Out for 20 mins but walked half.

Orienteering 1:09:26 [1] 4.12 km (16:51 / km)

On Bjornasberget. Putting out controls 13-18 on the visualisation exercise. Nightmare. Lost the will to live. Everything went wrong... Navigated from 1-2 when I was at 18 and supposed to be going to 17. Went over on my ankle and bashed my shin where I already had a massive bruise. Got very confused where 16 was meant to be and 13 the crags didn't make sense. Then I lost a control when I was furthest away from the start.

Orienteering 1:33:39 [2] 6.16 km (15:12 / km)

Long/short legs exercise. Was going fine until I found myself relocating off some houses. Head definately not in the right frame of mind. The course went on forever.

Orienteering 34:34 [4] 3.66 km (9:27 / km)

1st leg relay practise. Actually did this in under 10min/kms!!! Messed up 1 so was miles behind everyone else then spiked all the other controls and won. Got back and jumped in the lake; such nice weather.

Swimming 25:00 [3]

Lots of swimming afterwards; haven't done so much swimming in ages.

Orienteering 1:02:35 [4] 6.34 km (9:52 / km)

Trains as a whole group. With the boys aswell which meant alot of hard running. On Getryggen; an area with lots of crags so as much rock climbing as orienteering.

Orienteering 56:53 [2] 3.65 km (15:35 / km)

Control pick. Couldn't find number 1 and went over on my ankle later in the rough part. Walked the rest; navigation was spot on when walking though.

Orienteering 17:05 [2] 1.38 km (12:23 / km)

Slopes course. Never done one of these before. Just did a few controls so had time to swimming afterwards.

Swimming 10:00 [3]

Lots of swimming and jumping off this amazing rock afterwards.

Orienteering 1:31:47 [2] 7.31 km (12:33 / km)

Using the Anggardsbergen part of a naturpasset map, picked up from a library. 50% running, 50% walking. Quite a few tracks and nice to have an easier day. Technically easier but messed up one control and the stakes were very hard to see.
