Intervals with Hannah and Katy. 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 3, 2, 1. Half recoveries except 3 after the first 4. Felt aweful running down but alright once got going.
ShUOC circuits in WP. Was hoping to do Bamford Sheepdog trials fell race but no one was driving out and trains were at annoying times. Ah well looking forward to doing some more races over summer.
Sprintervals with Katy and Winona around Ponderosa. Not feeling too good so just jogging round behind. They were both really good considering it was Katy's first time ever orienteering and Winona's second time doing urban orienteering. Very enthusiastic too!
The arch of my left foot has been niggling after running for about a month. Been massaging it almost every night but it's been getting worse the last week. Think I need some new trainers. Current ones are very worn out.
A day of mixed emotions. Dissertation mark was good but then the landlady phoned to say she is selling the house. Fantastic... so now have to start house hunting.
Sandall Beat Wood - South Yorkshire's version of Micheldever. Too tired to engage brain today, fell over about 5 times. Enjoyed it though, nice to be running round a forest with a map again.
Lap of Crookes to warm up then sprintervals from a few weeks ago. Long easy legs of hard running up and down hills then a sprinterval section x3. Definintely trying hard up the hills. Taking the orienteering a little easier just to keep on top of things. Bottom of left shin hurting I think from downhill on tarmac. Stopped to stretch quite a few times. Need to stretch and keep off hard surfaces for a bit I think.
Lately the arch of my left foot has been painful when lying in bed but stops after massaging it. Yesterday it hurt when started running but fine when warmed up. Today it hurt doing drills. Need to get a golf ball on it.
