Similar to yesterday but in the evening when less hot. Ran along the marina and watched some fisherman weigh a massive Blue Marlin fish they had caught - 183kg!
To/from Hooker glacier's proglacial lake. Big group of us out to enjoy the sun rise over Mount Cook and the surrounding mountains. Felt pretty magical! Feeling far better than yesterday when I was dehydrated as it was so hot during the day.
5 of us ran up to the terminus of Fox Glacier. It rained heavily overnight and the waterfalls and river were pretty impressive. The valley emerging out of the darkness was pretty cool.
Enjoyable morning in the snow on Longshaw. Navigation not great and not feeling particularly sprightly either. Got a nice bruise from when I head-butted a tree.
ShUOC intervals.. 3 x 2 minutes up and down the hill in the woods. Really enjoyed this loop should use it more. Need a headtorch next time though, had a few near misses with trees! Then 6 x 30 seconds up the re-entrant. Finished with 3 x 2 minutes on the grass. Really enjoyed it.
