Harvester, course B, leg 2. Absolutely loved this, a lot of fun. Completely out of practise with orienteering in general let alone night o and kept losing 2/3 minutes on quite a few controls which all added up. The open in particular was quite tricky and pretty wierd to be running along the fell whilst some people were blaring out party music on a boat on the lake below at 3am. Also kept nearly running into sleeping cows! Started to get better in the second half but still scrappy. ShUOC somehow came 1st on the B (behind 2 n/c teams)...

Blacka moor chase. Started off at a decent pace up the hill but felt a bit rough near the top so eased off then recovered a bit and tried to speed up on the downhill. Took it steady up the second hill because knew I would need some energy for the final slog up the track except we went straight down as apparently the route had changed... so had plenty of energy left at the end! Good fun for the second half!

Castleton. Stomach making horrible noises the whole way and legs felt like lead up the hills and even worse on the downs. Managed to run the Lose Hill to Mam Tor section marginally faster than during the skyline... Really enjoyable though! :)

Great ridge and round to Cave Dale. Crawling. Haven't spent three days on my feet in a while and felt knackered. Also, the cooked breakfast I had 3 hours before did not sit well in my stomach. Nice to get some fresh air though.
