Absolutely love this place, such a beautiful setting for a long run. Forgot how hilly it is and found there was no respite from this on the second half which I hadn’t done before. Very quiet with it being a Monday, basically had the place to myself. The weekend has made me appreciate Sheffield even more, such a great city. Need a trip back in the summer with the boys.

Pace was perfect for me to run 8.15. Sadly legs felt fucked from a big week last week and guess I still haven’t really done any speed work yet either. Not too fussed, just good to get out there and gain more indoor experience.

Note to self, last couple of track races I’ve found myself stuck behind a guy when the pack breaks, in the future must identify this, go round them and haul ass to get back on the group.

Wanted to do a bit of a session but couldn’t be arsed for a full blown tempo and didn’t want to risk doing anything too quick so ended up with this. Loved being back at Woodbourn, good mems of first and second year where there would be a massive turnout for this type of bread and butter session.
