Poor second half of the routechoice to 3 hitting the heather. Poor visualisation into 10 after picking the best routechoice. Bad routechoice to 12, should of spent more time planning.

Ended up 7th overall. Lost top 5 after day 1 but a great recovery after that. Really enjoyed orienteering this week and probably navigated the best that I have in a long long time. Few things to work on over the winter but motivated for WUOC now where I think I could get some top results in the sprint and long.

Missed number 2, 16 and 25 pretty badly. Other than that just losing time through bananaing and running with less confidence than the top guys. 25 was the most annoying miss though which took away a sense of satisfaction for me. Must concentrate more!

Scottish Day 1

Bit of a shitter. Going fine until control 6 where a crag wasn't mapped about 100m on line from the actual control, panicked and binned a load of time. Pretty demotivated after this and orienteers half heartedly to the finish.
