Orienteering race 1:02:36 [5] 4.5 km (13:55 / km) +110m 12:24 / km

A helluva lot of running around in the wrong direction. iffy into 1. Stopped short on2 and then went too low. Over ran 3, relocated from the road. 4 was the biggest stuff up. hit the wrong road and managed to make the map fit around everything i could see. Didn't help Mike made the same error (so i assumed i was in the right place). Even when i did hit correct road i went in too early and had to relocate again. 20 min leg, probably 15 mins or error. 5,6 were okay. missed 7 and Mike and I followed brad into 8 and had to reverse to 7. 9 i hit dead on, but misread my control number so didn't realize that the control i found was correct. what a cock up. hit my straps from then on other than slow up the hill to 14 and hesitant into 16.

Forgot to start my HR/tracker at the start, so was running around to #3 watching watch as it tried to find satellites (if anyone is reading i left the display on HR mode and disabled km beeps)

Run/Trek Leg of Kinetic AR. Started in thick mist so were thinking "how hard can 5km be". Turned out hidden in the mist was a bloody 250m + high mountain. And they put a control at the top of the bloody thing. Leg also had a mini obstacle course in the middle.

Cycle leg. Struggled on the rugged uphills, got regularly passed by schoolkids... oh well... for a first time cyclist, pretty good going

Part run, part paddle, part obstacle course.
