Decent enough effort, until leaving 11, where upon I tried to navigate from 10 to 11 again. Door knob.

Orienteering race (Troll Cup Final) 47:31 [4] **** 3.5 km (13:35 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280

Sloppy, silly errors in the circles, but held it more or less together until the leg from 10 to 11. Decided instead to navigate from 10 to 3. Barf.

Phil's training session at U. Mass, great fun.

Listened in on Phil's intro tutorial to the beginners, brilliantly done, best I've heard. Maybe all those years as a prof count for something ;).

And then this year's best senior moment so far. Met up with Phil to pick up the controls flags for next week. He gave me a lift back to my car. Thanked him, jumped out of his car, and waved goodbye as he drove off, with the controls still in his car ... gawd, I'm such a looooooser.
