1.5%. Good overall run. Legs were still sore from the weekend so took it pretty easy. It also got pretty late on me so I didn't get in the mileage that I would have liked to.

Snow Joke 1/2. Didn't have a great race overall. Lots of factors hind sight went into the spanking but basically narrowed down to not enough prerace fuel and weather. Vanessa had a tough race as well. Matt, Andy, Haley, Vanessa, Heather, and I all ran it today with 550 other crazies. The weather out was crazy snowy. I am happy to get back in the saddle. Now where near ready for boston yet.

1.5-2.5%. Did a variety of things tonight including a couple miles of fartlek and a couple of miles of mp+ pace running. Legs are starting to get their snappiness back fianlly. Hoping for a decent time on saturday just to have some piece of mind.

2.5%. Legs felt pretty heavy tonight so I stopped at 4. Still pretty sore from shearing two days this past weekend. Knee seems to holding together which is a good sign.

2.5-10%. 5 miles at 2.5% and 3 at 10%. Speeds varied through out the run. Anywhere from 6:40's to 13's during the walk. Knee felt pretty good throughout the run. Iced afterwards.

2.5%. First run back after giving my knee some more time to rest. I feels really good at times and then at times not so good. The run was pretty smooth only a few times did my knee feel weak. I would like to get back into some regular training but am going forward with caution.

1.5-2.5%. First run since my knee started hurting on Sunday. It was really sore on Monday too so I took off until today. It felt really good until about 4 miles and then had a little tweak which didn't feel great. Pain subsided after a few steps and I was able to finish the run without any pain. I iced after the run and will continue to do so for the next week or so to make sure I get the problem resolved.

Hoot owl loop x3. Sherry Arnold memorial run. Trc put it on and we had about 15 people show up. I ran most of the run with van and robin so it was a really slow run but I really tried to slow down and enjoy all of the people around me and just to be alive. Pretty chilly outside 0F foe most of the run.

Trainer. Did a quick ride after getting home from the game. Pushed back my big run until Sunday. Tomorrow we are doing the Sherry Arnold run in the morning. Should be a special event.

2.5%-6.0%. Did a 4 mile warm up and cool down with 6 miles at 6% at 6.5 mph. Legs felt pretty heavy from the last couple days of training. I don't think that I ran quite as fast as the last time that I did this work out.

2.5%-10%. Did a mile warm up and cool down. Four miles at 10%. Did three of them at 5.5 mph and 1 mile at 4.7 mph. Solid run overall.

2.5%. Ran after the game again. Solid run and felt fastest at the end of the run. I read on Matt Hart's twitter the other day that consistancy trumps perfection. I like it.

2.5%. Tempo run after school. 8.8 mph for five miles. Felt pretty comfortable actually so I am really happy that I waited a day to run it. Really solid run overall.
