Mountain Running race (Spelga Skyline ) 3:10:40 [3] 20.6 km (9:15 / km) +1530m 6:45 / km

First attempt at the Spelga Skyline course. Had a target time of 3-3:15 based on previous results and weather forecast. All weathers were thrown at us -thankfully the first blast of hailstones was on the tailwind blowing us up Meelbeg! Happy enough with route to Muck and over Deers Meadow etc. High grass/heather tussocks over to Pierce's Castle and descending Rocky slowed speed and sapped energy. Last two climbs were ok but eased off too much with the end in sight.
