usual story of slow descent off Commedagh and picked a bad route off Lammagan where I lost some time. Was strong enough to catch and pass 4 runners on the track and road to finish but still finished outside top 10

first attempt at this course, happy enough with the run up the track, was moving well and near enough to the front dozen or so runners. Really should've took off faster to race to the quarry but i guess i felt that i'd need something for the climb. up the hill my leg turnover could've been quicker at times as it felt sluggish and attritional.
Felt tired on the jog back down so have to be happy with the effort that i must have put in. although 21st and 4th in M35 isn't the result i would've liked
