nowehere near a beneficial warm up and the legs felt it for a good 20mins into the race

becoming one of my favourite races although i didn't race hard enough today at all - getting the impression that there's more determination in others to finish ahead of me than i have to finish ahead of them. the poor warm up (& mindset) didn't help as i wasn't comfortable in my running until heading over to the mast. had an ok run over to windy gap but a couple of silly route choice errors dropped time and places getting to carnavaddy. stayed "lowish" getting over to Slieve Foye and the good running improved my mood even though its not necessarily any quicker unless you really push the final climb. descent was good - no race pressure. & less than 2mins slower than last year.
