Running 1:35:45 [3] 15.87 km (6:02 / km) +509m 5:12 / km
Steady run to Coaley Peak and back
Out via Ashmead Green, Far Green, Lever's Hill and Frocester Hill
Back CW, Uley Bury, Newbrook Farm and Cam Peak
Thought I'd never get out of the maize flield alive at Far Green, as the path disappeared
Both hips feeling a bit tight and left Achilles giving occassional twinge, so nothing out of the ordinary
Out via Ashmead Green, Far Green, Lever's Hill and Frocester Hill
Back CW, Uley Bury, Newbrook Farm and Cam Peak

Orienteering race 39:40 [3] 5.86 km (6:46 / km) +60m 6:26 / km
British Middle Distance - Stock Hill - M45
Started really well, almost perfect on control pick of first 5 controls.
6 - Long leg, which executed well until path before control, where I was not careful enough to check where crossed path and then drifted too far west in first reentrant - hit rentrant with control in by double crags, so managed to reloacate - 1:20
8 - stopped short, as there was a small unmapped crag, with what looked like a knoll behind - 45 secs
12 - too far left and didn't relocae that quickly - 45 secs
17 - mistook clearing north of control for strip clearing and saw control - not mine - ooops - slly mistake as not careful enpugh leaving 16 and drifted left - 1:30
7th - 8 mins down on Andy Simpson

British Sprint - Bath University M45 A Final
1-2 - went under through service area, which far slower than route via steps - 0:40
No.4 Hesitant just before control - 10 secs
Saw Jamie Rennie coming into 7 from different direct to me and Andy he had started one min in front, but transpired he made ven bogger mostake on 2, so had overtaken hom, but then went straight from 5 to 7.
Caught by Andy Simpson here - managed to stay in touch until around no. 12 - kept seeing both of them on a few contro;s as I was going in, and they were going out...... last saw Andy comimg out of 17 - then with Jamoe rest of way (Andy missed 18)
5th - 58 secs behind Richard B, 54 behind Will Heap and 16 behind John Oakes
Lots of mistakes made by others, but looks like john had clean run, so a medal was their for the taking.
Beaten by lots of M50's, but they don't matter until next year
14-15 comimg around corner of building saw Andy and Jamie Rennie come across roar, ran straight passed control, thinking they were coming out of it = 15 secs
