Velvet Bottom - Cheddar (on west side of gorge) - racetrack - Beacon Batch

Far too nice to be stuck in doors sorting starting to sort stuff and have a clear out for move, so had a day out in The Mendips.

Not as busy out as I would have thought

Running 31:42 [3] 6.31 km (5:01 / km) +48m 4:50 / km
shoes: On Cloud

Corsham Court

No normal Friday post work pint(s), so run instead - lovely evening and should have had a camera as there was a light mist forming over the lake in the twilight

Running 58:41 [3] 10.55 km (5:34 / km) +261m 4:57 / km
ahr:150 max:170 shoes: Saucony Peregrine 6

Steady/hilly run from Heddington and up Roundway Hill - bit of an explore in the woods and around the fort.

Pushed a bit harder back up the byway after dropping off the hill the first time and got third fastest time on the segment (Church Road Climb) :-)

Lovely evening and good views from the edge

Left ankle still feeling a little weak, especially on hard packed bridleways where horses had been and made the going quite difficult

Gunnerside Gill explore

Lovely morning, so no need to rush home without a visit to the old mines near Gunnerside, I last visited here 20 odd years ago on The Coast to Coast walk and it was just as sunny then...

Lovely!

Two Dales Ride - Swaledale from Muker to Grinton then over Greets Moss via the lovely Castle Bolton to Wensleydale - then along to Hawes and over Buttertubs

Another stunning day, so took my time........ out of practice on bike and hills, but made them both
