Orienteering long 1:05:20 [3] 9.47 km (6:54 / km) +147m 6:24 / km

Sidbury Hill - Short Brown - 7.6KM

Took Phil's advice and ran Short Brown..... fine until no. 11 where I made by biggest mistake in a very very long time!!! Probably lost 10 to 12 minutes, found no.12 twice before finding it, just couldn't work out map, compass was weird, just lost head!!

Running angry after that for reasons above and other stuff!!

Oxford City Race - Mens Vet 40+/Women Open - 43 Controls!!

Good fun course - not as scenic as normal, but avoided the crowds in the City Centre

11 - couldn't see two gates clearly and couldn't work out route - was a long way round - 1 min

12 - bit of a mental blockage and thought I was on other side of fence than I actually was - 30 secs

13 - hesitant - 15 secs

26 - misread open with trees as olive so went other side of hedge - 15 secs

Tired and sluggish towards end and heart rate was high all way round (>180 for quite a bit towards end) - need to get some proper training done!!
