Test run of the Trail runner's special - checking some of the potential shortcuts. Some good to very good, one dicey with some green, steep side hill and a couple of deep reentrants if you drop too low.
Potential for a dogleg, down then back up a hill, but good chance to see who is just in front or behind.
Attackpoint download says 5.178 km, 158 m climb.
Importing the gpx into the OCAD map file, it measures as 5.31 km, a little longer once the line is smoothed.
Some of the marked path needs raking and trimming to make it easier to see, particularly where it crosses recently logged areas.

Weeks Woods / Timber Hill Farm - N end.
Some interesting chunks, and some real crap near the edges of fields. Will relook some course legs - to incorporate nice control locations and neat areas to run legs through.
