had plans to run sunday, but things didn't quite work out that way so i went with the flow. started out late, last minute decision, and it was quite hot. kept a comfortable pace and hoped HR cooperated. the goal was to build base aerobic.

except for mile 7, which i got lazy and walked up the big hill (pace went down to 10min/mi), i was able to average the rest of the run at around 8:45min/mi.

i was super sleepy and lazy. it took a lot of will power to head to the gym. walked on the treadmill for a 20min (1mi) just to warm up a little. legs woke up a bit and i started the run at a slow and steady pace, increased the pace the last 15min or so. body and mind came around and felt better at every step, so glad i ran.
