first leg of a 10 miler, left hammy started to irritate me around mile 2 and would not go away. at times, it felt like i didn't have complete control of my left knee. otherwise, everything else was good, especially lungs.

note: switched shoes to see if it made a difference.

after the first half, stopped to take in a gu (didn't have anything for breakfast yet), and started again. left leg was nagging, the pain would not go away. i felt every single step. i'm sure this long run did not help matters, but once i had my mind set, i had to complete it. made 2 stops to ease the pain a bit and walked it off, mile 1.5 and mile 3. time did not include stops.

warm up run for spin. left leg was still a mess. i'm starting to think it has to do with these worn brooks. need to get new shoes and maybe even a massage to get rid of the kinks. foam roller had not been working.
