took the old schwinn out for a casual ride from Macarthur to HB, dove into the salty water, hung out on the sand a bit, and rode back. what a beautiful day, loving it!

tempo run: 10min warm up, 10min @ 7.2mph, 10min @ 7.2-7.7mph. legs and lungs felt great.

legs started out very heavy, continued shin splint on left leg. nothing proper warm up couldn't cure.

after work loop from quail hill to nix center and back with the boys, G & Jim. the heat finally let up a bit today. it has been almost unbearable for over 3 weeks.

slow and steady. left leg started out with a bit of pain but it eventually went away after proper warm up. aerobic fitness was finally there, breathing was nice and even through out, no need for recovery afterwards.
